Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Finance Manager in FP&A to translate our mission into a sustainable financial reality. You’ll own the annual operating plan and rolling forecasts, partnering with Platform leadership to guide investments and resource allocation.

You’ll drive end-to-end financial deliverables, lead month-end close, and surface trends with clear, actionable recommendations. Expertise in financial modeling, SQL, and planning tools is essential to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6 years of FP&A, strategic finance, or similar fast-paced finance environment.
• Track record managing large-scale OpEx budgets across multiple cost centers.
• Influence senior stakeholders with clear financial analysis.
• Advanced financial modeling; SQL; planning tools or data visualization tools.
• Experience with generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own forecasting, reporting, and analysis; ensure budget cycles are met.
• Lead month-end close with variance analysis and close collaboration with Accounting.
• Identify trends and opportunities by analyzing data and explaining the 'why'.
• Partner with Platform leadership; present analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Build models quantifying risks, opportunities, and investment trade-offs.
