Job summary

Modern Family Law, a national family law firm, seeks a Family Law Paralegal for our Atlanta, GA office. You will manage your own caseload in divorce, child custody, property division and support matters, drafting filings and communicating with clients.

This role is remote-first with in-person court and client requirements; you will e-file with county systems, track deadlines, and work closely with attorneys to move matters forward.

Qualifications

• Family law experience required; ability to draft filings clearly.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in e-filing with county courts and portals.
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a law firm.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of family law matters from hire through resolution with attorneys.
• Draft filings (Petitions, Summons, Case Information Sheets, Notices) and e-file.
• Own deadlines; calendars and court requirements to prevent late filings.
• Engage with clients; respond to questions with empathy and clarity.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date files that are easy to audit.
• Collaborate with attorneys as a proactive teammate, not just an inbox.
