Job summary

Directive Consulting is a remote-first US-based agency seeking an Associate Director of Paid Social to lead a pod of up to eight Social Media Strategists. You’ll drive client strategy, optimization, and outcomes across LinkedIn and Meta platforms while mentoring a growing team and upholding our DiscoverabilityOS™ methodology.

You will steer measurement, leverage data for storytelling, and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency (bonus for B2B)
• 2+ years people management experience
• Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads and Meta
• Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, and more
• Ability to delegate to team members to ensure joint success
• Ability to de-escalate client fires and proactively prevent fires from starting
• Strong understanding of Paid principles, including ICP research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
• Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms
• Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
• Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
• Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data

• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead a pod of up to 8 Social Media Strategists and set the tone for excellence across the team and clients
• Set goals for each client engagement within the pod
• Ensure clients follow best practices and our Social Advertising methodology
• Support strategists to secure client approvals
• Identify roadblocks and drive action plans to remove them
• Build structure, cadence, and clear communication to empower the team
