Job summary
Formance builds programmable financial infrastructure. We’re seeking a Solutions Engineer with a fintech background to join our team and help prospects map their financial flows to Formance capabilities.
You’ll design tailored demos, run technical evaluations, and translate architectural tradeoffs into business impact for founders, while collaborating with sales, product, and engineering.
Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking infrastructure, or digital-asset infrastructure.
- Strong API and data-model understanding; able to read and reason about architectures.
- Experience working with customers in a technical or solutions-focused role.
- Ability to ask precise questions, elicit requirements, and explain concepts clearly.
- Commercial judgment on how technical evaluations influence buying decisions.
- Hands-on, independent contributor in a small team with strong English.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with engineering and product teams to understand workflows and evaluation criteria.
- Build tailored demos and proofs of concept using Formance APIs and tooling.
- Guide technical evaluations, answer questions, and assess product fit for prospects.
- Partner with sales to connect technical capabilities to business needs and advance opportunities.
- Provide concrete customer feedback to product and engineering with clear gaps and needs.
