Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions seeks a dynamic Sales Engineer in NYC to support its SEC/EDGAR product suite. You will provide technical pre-sales expertise, conduct software demos, and help clients understand the value of our compliance and reporting solutions.

The role is remote with a home office assignment, national coverage, and travel for conferences. 5+ years’ experience, strong presentation and communication skills, and proficiency with Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the SEC EDGAR filing process.
Prior sales or sales support experience, with a track record of making or exceeding sales plan.
Previous Tech demo experience required.
At least 5 years of experience preferred.
Excellent communication, including highly adept listening skills.
Strong and polished presentation skills.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects at a time.
Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain professional relationships.
Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Expertly guide clients through our product offerings via technology demonstrations, clearly articulating the value proposition and addressing client questions in real time.
Establish the best practice for pre-demo data gathering and post-demo follow up.
Collaborate with Broadridge sales teams peers and leaders.
Develop trusted partner relationships with key customers to retain and grow revenues over time.
Participate in contract negotiations.
Represent Broadridge at conferences and regional events.
Achieve sales activity goals.
Develop and manage sales pipeline.
Work closely with our CRM system (Salesforce).
Work with clients to understand needs and challenges.
Expertly document, channel, and tailor communications with clients to yield optimal results.
Build custom client presentations.
Plan product- and industry-specific training sessions for sales, and prepare internal training presentations to increase sales effectiveness.
Work with marketing to create collateral sales material.
Coordinate conference attendance, sponsorships, and webinars.
Gather technical requirements from clients and prospects to help inform the product roadmap.
