Qualifications

• 2+ years in fintech lending platforms or equivalent experience in lending.
• 2+ years in investment banking or middle-market advisory.
• 2+ years in private credit, specialty finance, or structured finance.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Understanding of credit performance metrics and loan economics.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into executive-ready insights.
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
• High ownership mindset in a fast-moving, deal-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Deal evaluation and financial analysis for lending opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models to assess profitability.
• Manage loan portfolio acquisitions across consumer, SMB, and healthcare lending.
• Structure forward flow and partnership arrangements.
• Assess pricing, ROA, IRR, and loss curves with risk and treasury teams.
• Prepare investment memos and executive materials.
• Support sourcing, development, and origination of new opportunities.
• Engage external counterparties (finTechs, lenders, banks).
• Represent Optum Bank in meetings and industry events.
• Coordinate across legal, compliance, and operations; monitor performance.
