Optum Financial is seeking an Associate Director, Strategic Finance to accelerate growth by developing rigorous financial models, evaluating new products and partnerships, and building scalable frameworks across multiple lines of business. This high-impact role reports to senior leaders and collaborates with product, technology, strategy, and operations teams in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

6+ years in strategic finance, corporate development, business development, consulting, investment banking or FP&A
Experience building/leading complex financial models and investment analyses
Experience evaluating partnership structures, deal economics, or M&A opportunities
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
Synthesize ambiguous inputs into clear financial frameworks
Excellent communication, with senior/executive presentation experience

Responsabilités

Develop and lead financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses for products and partnerships
Evaluate economics: revenue, costs, pricing, risk, returns, sensitivities
Partner with BD, product, tech, strategy, operations, and finance leaders for sound recommendations
Create scalable financial frameworks for shared models and investment decisions across lines of business
Support due diligence and evaluation of partnerships, deals, and potential M&A
Lead cross-functional finance projects and enterprise initiatives
Translate inputs into clear assumptions, narratives, and actions for leaders
Prepare executive-ready materials on opportunities, economics, and risks
