Job summary

Tilt Finance seeks a Controller to lead accounting operations and build infrastructure for public company readiness. You will oversee a team, partner with FP&A, Legal, and other stakeholders, and drive a scalable finance function as the company grows.

You’ll own the close, strengthen internal controls, and champion automation. A hands-on leader with 10+ years in accounting and fintech experience will fit well.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting/finance, with leadership experience
• Fintech or consumer credit accounting experience ideal
• NetSuite power user and system builder
• Experience supporting IPO readiness and external audits

Responsibilities

• Lead US accounting operations and consolidation under GAAP
• Redesign accounting ops for scale and IPO readiness
• Design and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reporting integrity
• Mentor a team of accountants while contributing as IC when needed
• Champion automation and AI-driven improvements in the close process
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators and investors on financial disclosures
