Job summary

Tuvoli, a private aviation fintech, seeks a strategic Controller to own financial operations, reporting, and compliance as the company scales beyond $2 billion in annual transaction volume. You will drive close processes, build scalable policies, manage cash flow, and lead an AI-first finance stack.

You will partner with Product & Engineering to align data flows and support new product launches, coordinate audits, and report to the CFO on board material matters and due diligence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with senior executive exposure befitting the top accounting role.
• Experience with variable transaction-based revenue in payments/fintech or travel-tech with complex payment flows.
• Technical expertise with revenue recognition in the payments industry.
• Proven track record with modern financial tools and ability to leverage AI in building the finance function.
• CPA certification is required.
• Thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with increasing efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls for a rapidly scaling company.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.
• Implement and maintain an AI-first financial technology stack (ERP, Bill-pay, Banking, revenue recognition tools, etc.).
• Partner with Product & Engineering teams to design accurate financial data flows between financial systems and operational platforms to support new product launches.
• Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
• Partner with the CFO on Board reporting, investor and M&A due diligence.
