Job summary

One Call in Annapolis, MD seeks a Cloud FinOps & Technology Cost Strategy Manager to own cloud financial management across multi-cloud, SaaS, and on-premises tech. This hands-on role builds the FinOps operating model, partners with engineering, finance, procurement, and strategy to improve cost visibility, forecasting accuracy, and accountability.

The role reports to the VP Technology; no direct reports, with potential growth as the function matures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in technology, finance, cloud cost management, or FinOps, including 3+ years in a dedicated cloud financial management role.
• Hands-on experience with cloud cost platforms (Vantage, Apptio, Cloudability, Flexera, CloudHealth, CloudZero, or comparable) across at least two major public clouds.
• Experience establishing tagging standards, allocation taxonomy, and chargeback or showback models in an enterprise environment.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner; other FinOps certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides cost visibility, allocation, and reporting across multi-cloud and SaaS platforms.
• Drives cost optimization strategies and manages commitment portfolios and discounts.
• Partners with engineering, architecture, and finance to produce forecasts and multi-year projections.
• Establishes FinOps governance, taxonomy, and monthly/quarterly reviews.
