Ideal candidates have 1 year in collections or billing-related roles, strong multichannel communication skills, and the ability to negotiate payment arrangements while protecting client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in collections, billing support, financial services, contact center operations, or customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication across phone, email, chat, and SMS.
• Ability to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve account issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify Mars Five Principles within self and team.
• Manage inbound/outbound communications related to past-due balances, NSF payments, invoices, and billing inquiries.
• Educate clients on wellness plan billing structures, financing options, and account status.
• Process payments, future-dated transactions, payment plans, adjustments, and updates accurately.
• Document client interactions and payment activity in CRM and financial systems.
• Meet productivity, quality, compliance, and collections performance expectations.
• Collaborate with team leads and hospital teams to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Support outbound campaigns related to collections and payment recovery.
• Assist with special projects, pilot programs, and seasonal outreach as assigned.
