Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP in Oakland seeks a Financial Reporting Manager to support the Associate Director of Financial Reporting & Analytics in managing the Firm’s financial reporting and analysis functions.

You will lead the day-to-day execution of reporting deliverables, oversee the Financial Analyst team, and contribute to the development of analytic tools and delivery of Firmwide financial insights, exercising sound judgment and initiative within established direction.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree with major coursework in Finance required; Industry certifications preferred or combination of commensurate educational and professional experience required.
• 5 years’ managerial experience leading a team within a law firm preferred.
• Proficiency in data extraction and system management within enterprise data warehouse environments (ETL) required; knowledge of budget platforms required.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop Financial Analysts; oversee workload prioritization, performance and professional development of the FA team.
• Assist in Firmwide financial and statistical reporting, including monthly and annual leadership reports and Executive Board materials.
• Maintain and enhance reporting dashboards and statistical platforms; ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Coordinate and manage the FA team’s role in the Firm’s budget and forecasting process, including revenue/expense projections, forecasting, and internal target analysis.
