Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the Financial Reporting & Analytics team and partner with the Associate Director on firm-wide reporting initiatives.

The role focuses on managing analysts, delivering monthly and annual leadership reports, and building data-driven insights across the firm's offices and SBUs. Remote option available; Colorado location supported.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree with major coursework in Finance required; industry certifications preferred or combination of commensurate educational and professional experience.
• 5 years’ managerial experience leading a team within a law firm preferred.
• Proficiency in data extraction and system management within enterprise data warehouse environments (ETL) required; knowledge of budget platforms required.
• SQL proficiency required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; working knowledge of Power BI required; SSRS familiarity preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively with firm leadership.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop Financial Analysts; oversee workload prioritization, performance and professional development of the FA team.
• Assist in Firmwide financial and statistical reporting, including monthly and annual leadership reports and Executive Board materials.
• Maintain and enhance reporting dashboards and statistical platforms; ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Coordinate and manage the FA team’s role in the Firm’s budget and forecasting process, including revenue/expense projections, forecasting, and internal target analysis.
• Prepare ad hoc and client specific reporting and analysis to support leadership decision making.
• Coordinate team contributions to year end reporting, tax schedules, audit requests, and balance sheet reviews; ensure accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.
