Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the Financial Analyst team, oversee dashboards, and deliver firm-wide reporting insights. The role involves managing day-to-day reporting deliverables and ensuring data accuracy across systems.

You will collaborate with the Associate Director of Financial Reporting & Analytics to drive process improvements, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and provide leadership with actionable analytics.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree with major coursework in Finance required; industry certifications preferred or combination of commensurate educational and professional experience.
• 5 years’ managerial experience leading a team within a law firm preferred.
• Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and translate into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data extraction and enterprise data warehouse environments (ETL) required; budget platforms knowledge helpful.
• SQL proficiency and advanced Excel required; Power BI experience mandatory; SSRS familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop Financial Analysts; oversee workload prioritization and professional development.
• Assist in firmwide financial and statistical reporting, including monthly/annual leadership reports and Board materials.
• Maintain dashboards and ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Coordinate budget/forecasting activities including revenue and expense projections.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting to support leadership decision making and track performance metrics.
• Support year-end reporting, tax schedules, audits, and balance sheet reviews.
• Partner with leadership to evaluate, enhance and modernize reporting processes and tools.
