Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Financial Counseling Manager to lead training, onboarding, and staffing initiatives for our patient financial services team. You will oversee daily operations, drive performance metrics, and coach associates to deliver compassionate, compliant financial counseling.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of experience, including 1 year in a management role. Remote work is supported; annual bonus plan eligible at 5%.

Responsibilities

• Support training and onboarding of new associates and assist with recruiting activities as needed.
• Lead regular 1:1 meetings with associates and provide mentorship.
• Develop content for and lead daily/weekly team meetings with staff and review financial counseling metrics.
• Monitor and report on employee responsibilities, shift schedules, and Leave coverages.
• Drive excellent customer service by coaching associates on methods to create a great patient experience.
• Supervise associates responsible for financial screening and enrollment in assistance programs.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly key metrics reports.

Education

Bachelor's - Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
