Paired is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a fully remote role in the United States. You will own core finance operations, cash management, payments, and financial controls in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities include cash flow forecasting, full payment cycle management, and working capital optimization, with a strong emphasis on security and internal controls. 5+ years of relevant experience and QBO proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Financial Controller, Treasury, or similar role.
• Experience in high-volume e-commerce or fast-paced environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Excellent spreadsheet skills and confidence working with financial data.
• Genuine interest in and openness to AI-assisted finance workflows.
• High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive financial information.
• Proactive, low-ego working style with ownership of critical areas.
• Ability to work effectively in a lean and fast-moving environment.
• Comfort making cash flow, payments and working capital decisions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash flow and maintain a rolling cash flow forecast to provide liquidity insight.
• Own the full payment cycle, including supplier and contractor payments and company cards.
• Develop and manage working capital strategies to minimise idle cash.
• Oversee card and account security with controls and spending limits.
• Maintain strong internal financial controls and segregation of duties.
• Support banking relationships and working-capital facilities.
• Identify financial risks and act proactively before issues arise.
• Work independently with end-to-end ownership of finance operations.
