Job summary

Navigate Search is seeking a hands-on Controller to manage internal financial operations and client accounting across multiple entities in a remote-first role. You will partner with senior leadership to enhance financial reporting, controls, forecasting, and operational processes.

The role requires 8–12 years of progressive controllership and strong budgeting, forecasting, and cash-planning skills, with proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Online.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of progressive controllership, FP&A, or senior accounting experience.
• Experience with both internal financial operations and client accounting.
• Proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks Online, and related financial systems.
• Professional services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal accounting and select client accounting functions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee AP, AR, collections, and intercompany accounting.
• Develop scalable financial controls and standardized procedures.
• Maintain headcount and compensation models.
• Manage vendor contracts, spending policies, and renewals.
• Support banking, treasury, and accounting-system transitions.
• Prepare financial dashboards and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Support and develop members of the finance and accounting team.
