Job summary

Bay Business Group is seeking detail-oriented financial accountants to manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients from a remote setting. You will prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, process payroll, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.

We offer a flexible schedule, competitive base salary of 65K–75K with an incentive plan that can raise total compensation to 80K+ after 6–12 months, plus a 401(k) match and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 1–2 years accounting and bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Experience managing multiple clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work during normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with client projects.
• Assist with year-end close and tax filings as needed.
