Job summary

AccountingDepartment.com is seeking an Accountant to manage daily A/P, A/R, payroll and month-end close for multiple clients in a fully remote, W-2 environment and to uphold a high standard of client service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping and 2+ years using QuickBooks and/or NetSuite, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years performing full charge bookkeeping.
• 2+ years using QuickBooks and/or NetSuite Software.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients.
• Ability to interact with various levels of management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Daily accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple clients.
• Process payroll with 3rd party vendor and ensure timely reporting.
• Close monthly books and prepare balance sheet/income statement entries.
• Conduct reconciliations and monitor bank accounts/credit cards.
• Lead client calls to provide high-quality client service and support.
