The UFW Foundation is seeking a Finance Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on federal and state contract and grant awards, supporting multiple programs with budget, forecasting, and financial reporting.

You will collaborate with the Budget and Grants Director, monitor invoicing and spend-down, prepare pro forma budgets, and assist with annual audits. This is a remote position that requires advanced Excel skills and nonprofit accounting experience.

Formación

• Professional budgeting and financial analysis experience.
• Experience with government contracts and grants preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Provide data-driven financial analysis and support to internal clients.
• Review grants and contracts for budget restrictions.
• Monitor invoicing/advances for grants and contracts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual expense reports.
• Process journal entries for grant expenditures.
• Monitor subrecipient fiscal compliance.
• Coordinate collection and delivery of sub-recipient financial documents.
• Closeout grants when projects end.
• Support annual audits.
