Job summary

UFW Foundation is hiring a Finance Assistant to support the CFO and Grants/Fiscal Compliance team. This remote role handles deposits, payments, and receipts across programs, while delivering clerical support and ensuring confidentiality.

The Finance Assistant reports to the CFO and may assist the Director of Grants and Budgets and Controller with AP/AR duties. The position emphasizes Excel proficiency, strong organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a

Qualifications

Proficiency in Excel.
Must be computer literate/excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, databases, etc.).
At least one year of Accounting education.

Responsibilities

Assist Chief Financial Officer with preparation of presentation materials of financial matters.
Assist with maintaining grant information in accounting systems (Concur, Acumatica, Workday).
Reconcile monthly payments and fees (Merchant Store revenue, online donations).
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
Plan, coordinate, and execute various business requests.
Prepare spreadsheets, schedules, reconciliations, and analyses including monthly balance sheets, bank reconciliations, and trend analysis.
Other duties as assigned.
