Job summary

Nature is seeking a Finance Manager, AR, IA, MO, for a remote position within the Great Plains Division. The role partners with the Finance Director and division staff to deliver strategic financial guidance, manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and day-to-day finance activities across multiple business units.

The Manager leads financial processes, ensures controls and compliance, and provides actionable insights to inform resource allocation and funding decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and close processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights for planning and decision-making.
• Maintain data integrity, controls and financial systems.
• Support implementation of financial strategies and process improvements.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable and coordinate with accounting staff.
• Support private awards and funding proposals in partnership with philanthropy.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across the division.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on finance processes.
• Post revenue accruals and receipts for various transactions.
