Job summary

Synthires is seeking a Finance & Accounting Expert to design multi-step tasks that evaluate AI systems on real finance workflows, including FP&A, financial reporting, audits, and reconciliations. The role requires clear instructions, supporting documents, and objective grading criteria.

As a remote contractor, you will craft tasks with professional judgment, create or source materials, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, reconciliations, or accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate real-world finance workflows into clearly defined, measurable tasks.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work across multiple financial documents.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-step tasks based on real finance workflows (FP&A, reporting, audit, reconciliations).
• Establish objective grading criteria for consistent evaluation.
• Develop tasks requiring professional judgment, interpretation, and analysis of financial materials.
• Create or source supporting materials including spreadsheets, GL extracts, financial statements, and policy documents.
• Identify and flag ambiguous or ungradable tasks before submission.
• Deliver approved tasks on schedule while maintaining quality.
