Job summary

Synthires is seeking a Finance & Accounting Expert for a fully remote, contractor role. You will design multi-step tasks that test AI systems with real-world finance workflows, including FP&A, reporting, audits, and reconciliations. Strong English (B2/C1) is essential, and work is remote with global scope.

You will create supporting materials, set objective grading criteria, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality tasks while adhering to project standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in finance or accounting functions such as FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate real-world finance workflows into clearly defined, measurable tasks.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work across multiple financial documents.
• Ability to apply objective standards consistently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-step tasks based on real finance and accounting workflows, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial reporting, audit procedures, and reconciliations.
• Establish objective grading criteria that enable consistent evaluation across qualified reviewers.
• Develop tasks requiring professional judgment, accurate interpretation, and analysis of financial materials.
• Create or source supporting materials, including spreadsheets, general ledger extracts, financial statements, and policy documents.
• Identify and flag ambiguous or ungradable tasks before submission.
• Deliver approved tasks on schedule while maintaining required quality standards.
