Job summary

Waverock Software, Inc. is seeking a Finance & Operations Associate to drive cross-portfolio accounting, AI-powered automation, and scalable processes across a growing software portfolio.

You will work directly with the COO, CFO, and CEOs to optimize financial operations and build an AI-driven finance function. You’ll implement Bill.com and QuickBooks workflows, manage intercompany transfers, and help ensure audit readiness from January 2027.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in bookkeeping, finance operations, or related fields.
• AI-forward mindset with hands-on capability to build automations and AI-powered workflows.
• Comfort with learning new tools and solving problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between fractional CFO, bookkeeping firm, CPA, and leadership teams.
• Maintain organized expenses and implement tools like Bill.com for accurate reporting.
• Support accounts payable/receivable across the portfolio and ensure timely payments.
• Coordinate intercompany transfers and maintain records for multiple entities.
• Create scalable processes and AI-driven workflows that can be deployed across operating companies.
