Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking a Director of Finance Systems to own the technology behind our accounting and financial reporting, driving faster, more automated close. You’ll oversee NetSuite, Ramp, Zip, FloQast, and revenue tools, and partner with Engineering to design solutions that scale with the business.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, systems, and AI, leading ITGCs, building audit-ready controls, and shaping how AI agents connect to NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in finance systems, accounting systems, or ERP administration with NetSuite ownership.
• Led at least one finance system implementation or post-go-live stabilization.
• Designed or maintained IT general controls (user access, change management, operations) for financial reporting.
• Owned or governed a chart of accounts and built reports in NetSuite/SAP-like ERPs.
• Partnered with Accounting, Procurement, and Engineering/Product to translate business needs into system workflows.
• Explained technical risks and tradeoffs clearly to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology behind accounting and financial reporting, driving automation of the close.
• Project manage new system launches and updates, partnering with Engineering.
• Lead AI strategy for Finance, including agents, connections to NetSuite, and audit safeguards.
• Build ITGC and financial systems controls to scale with the business.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Financial Operations, Procurement, Product, Engineering, and Analytics.
