Job summary

Rula, a remote-first mental health company, is hiring a Director of Finance Systems to own Finance tech, including NetSuite, Ramp, Zip, and FloQast, and to drive faster, automated closes. You'll partner with Engineering to bake Finance needs in from the start and shape AI-driven controls for audit readiness.

You will lead ITGC, reporting, and system workflows across Accounting, FP&A, and Analytics, reporting to the Controller in a collaborative, AI-testing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance systems/ERP with NetSuite ownership.
• Led at least one full finance system implementation or stabilization.
• Experience designing IT general controls for financial reporting.
• Owned a chart of accounts and built NetSuite reports or saved searches.
• Partnered with Accounting, Procurement, and Engineering to build workflows.
• Ability to explain technical risks and tradeoffs clearly in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Own finance systems architecture and automation roadmap.
• Manage system launches, updates, and integrations with Engineering.
• Lead ITGC and financial controls aligned to audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Ops on requirements.
• Define AI strategy for accounting agents and safeguards.
• Partner across teams to enable scalable financial processes.
