KWI is seeking a Finance Associate in Melville, NY to own accounts payable and receivable, reconcile ledgers, and support the finance team with reporting and AI-driven improvements. You will work with senior analysts and staff accountants, contributing to month-end close and process enhancements.

The role emphasizes an operational mindset, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration in a growing cloud technology company serving retailers.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance with AP/AR ownership.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and month-end close.
• Experience with accounting software: NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in daily work.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full AP cycle: processing invoices, vendor relations, timely payments.
• Own AR: invoicing clients, collections, and balances follow-up.
• Support month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with financial reporting, audits, and ad hoc analyses.
