Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are seeking a property and casualty field territory underwriter for the Traverse City, Michigan area. This remote role requires travel to agencies within the territory and full responsibility for risk evaluation, pricing, and profitable growth for our agency partners.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of multiline underwriting, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), and are comfortable traveling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of industry underwriting experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of multiline commercial underwriting experience with underwriting authority.
• CIC/CPCU certifications or professional selling credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite, price, negotiate, and make informed decisions on commercial business.
• Market and solicit business across territory to build strong agency relationships.
• Lead territory development and drive enterprise-wide growth and profitability within the territory.
