Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of industry experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of multiline commercial underwriting experience with authority required; more than 3 years preferred.
• Insurance certifications (CIC, CPCU) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be ready to underwrite: analyzing risks, pricing, negotiating, and making informed decisions on commercial business.
• Be ready to market: selling & soliciting of business across all units within the territory to build strong agency relationships.
• Be ready to develop the territory: leads territory in strategic plan development, ownership, and execution of growth and profit.
• Be ready to lead agencies: build deep relationships with assigned agencies to deliver a profitable portfolio.
• Be ready to provide leadership: collaborate with field disciplines to ensure success by communication and support.
• Be ready to research the market: stay updated on industry trends and competitors to inform decisions.
