Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking a Manager, Field Training to oversee the correctional facility's training and development, instructional design, and training management. This role is remote with regular travel to facilities.

The position develops and implements training policies, monitors learning sessions, and supervises staff. The Field Training Manager travels to facilities where the Learning and Development Manager is vacant or where needs exist. Domestic U.S. travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of training, classroom instruction or curriculum development experience in the correctional industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Knowledge of learning management platforms preferred.
• Minimum age 18 and a valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility training and development, instructional design, and training management.
• Develop, implement, and manage policies and programs for training administration.
• Identify development needs and monitor learning sessions to promote self-development.
• Collaborate with management to meet Learning and Development goals.
• Supervise staff to achieve program objectives and maintain records.
• Travel domestically to deploy to facilities as needed.
