Job summary

Next 150 Construction Services is seeking a Traveling Field Training Specialist to deliver hands-on training for field staff in a self-perform labor environment. You will orient and develop workforce readiness, safety compliance, and technical skills aligned with project goals, traveling to multiple sites across the U.S.

The role emphasizes NCCER training, classroom-to-field integration, and collaboration with craft professionals and SMEs to keep content practical and up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in HSE or Construction.
• 5+ years of experience in construction or technical training.
• 5+ years of experience teaching, coaching, or facilitating adult learners.
• 5+ years of experience supporting apprenticeship programs or workforce development.
• 3–5 years developing technical training materials or project-based training.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel 50%+ to support project needs.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and growth of Next 150 Construction's training initiatives.
• Coordinate and facilitate technical training for field leadership and craft labor teams.
• Facilitate NCCER training, testing, and verification activities.
• Connect classroom learning with On-the-Job Learning and workforce requirements.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees.
• Support development and maintenance of training materials with instructional designers.
• Partner with safety teams and SMEs to keep content accurate and relevant.
• Provide classroom and field-based instruction for project and craft employees.
• Support qualification programs and workforce readiness activities.
• Expand training into additional crafts and locations.
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
• Travel to project locations as needed.
