Job summary

Next 150 Construction Services seeks a Field Training Specialist to deliver hands-on training for field staff in a self-perform environment. You will ensure safety compliance, workforce readiness, and skill development aligned with project goals.

The role involves coordinating technical training for field teams, facilitating NCCER activities, onboarding new hires, and maintaining training records while traveling to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with adult learning and instructional design.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience with LMS platforms and training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and growth of self-perform and craft training initiatives.
• Coordinate and facilitate technical training for field leadership and craft teams.
• Facilitate NCCER training, testing, and performance verification.
• Connect classroom learning with On-the-Job Learning and workforce requirements.
• Assist onboarding of new employees with foundational technical training.
• Maintain training materials with SME collaboration.
• Partner with safety teams and SMEs to keep content accurate and relevant.
• Provide classroom and field instruction for project staff.
• Support qualification and workforce readiness programs.
• Expand training into additional crafts and locations.
• Maintain training and qualification records per standards.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
