The position includes instructional duties about half the time, field coaching, and travel within a 1–2 hour radius, with opportunities for overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Expertise in hands-on field training techniques.
• Ability to identify and support student career development.
• Proficient in maintaining high student engagement levels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Must hold all required Department of Transportation qualifications for assigned territory.
• Valid driver’s license per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert hands-on training and classroom instruction.
• Identify and support student growth for career development.
• Maintain high student engagement with interactive teaching methods.
• Deliver classroom instruction approximately 50% of assignments.
• Administer hands-on training and evaluate students; record grades.
• Monitor engagement and learning levels across classes.
• Review training materials for accuracy and relevance.
• Identify potential instructor candidates and assist in developing junior instructors.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage materials.
• Provide field on-the-job training approximately 50% of time.
• Travel within 1–2 hours from home; overnight stays as needed.
