Job summary

Method Insurance is seeking a Field Territory Manager for the Southeast region. This fully remote role focuses on building and expanding relationships with independent agencies, driving new business, and achieving profitable growth across the territory.

As the primary contact for agencies, you will work with underwriting and business development to deliver a high-quality, consultative experience, managing pipelines and production with strong organization and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to prospect and develop new agency relationships.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with consultative selling approach.
• Experience with insurance sales or services preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and initiate conversations with new independent insurance agents to grow distribution in the assigned territory.
• Maintain consistent engagement with agencies through meetings, calls, and events.
• Exercise judgment in addressing client needs and developing action plans to attract new business.
• Meet monthly premium and submission goals in the territory.
• Visit agencies weekly, both virtually and on-site, to drive new partnerships and submissions.
• Build market position by defining and developing agency relationships.
• Use a consultative sales approach and a strategic marketing plan to generate opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve territory performance and profitability.
• Track opportunities and quotes through the submission lifecycle; follow up regularly.
• Prepare reports on premium growth and activity; deliver formal presentations to agents.
• Document all activity in the Agency Relationship Management system.
• Develop new business strategies with the team and present ideas to leadership.
