Job summary

Planet Green Search is seeking a Field Technician focused on commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting lighting control systems for AI data centers. This 100% remote-based role involves travel and a strong emphasis on TX projects, with Dallas preferred.

The position requires extensive experience with commercial lighting controls, sensor networks, and zone-based programming, using NX Controls as the primary platform while valuing familiarity with other brands.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience commissioning and programming commercial lighting control systems.
• Strong understanding of networked lighting controls, sensors, and zone-based programming.
• Ability to read and interpret control schematics, riser diagrams, and system layouts.
• Excellent documentation habits and clear communication with field & corporate teams.

Responsibilities

• Commission, program, and troubleshoot lighting control systems on-site and remotely.
• Work with NX Controls as the primary platform; leverage other brands when needed.
• Diagnose control, communication, and performance issues with contractors and project teams.
• Maintain thorough as-builts, test results, and issue-resolution records.
