Job summary

Lighting Environments is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site programming and commissioning of lighting and building control systems across the MD, DC, and VA regions. You will handle projects ranging from simple to complex, including IoT and networked controls, across hospitality and commercial environments.

You will train customers, program equipment, and provide support while documenting configurations and collaborating with the team to deliver reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Travel to MD, DC, and VA job sites as required.
• Read and understand technical and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Read and comprehend project documentation and specs.
• Lift or carry up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• On-site programming and commissioning of lighting and building control systems.
• Travel to job sites across MD, DC, and VA.
• Train customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Program equipment on-site or remotely per project needs.
• Document hardware, software, firmware, and system configurations.
