Job summary

E Tech Group seeks a Controls System Specialist to support the commissioning of data centers. You will assist in installing and commissioning the Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS), verify wiring, calibrate instruments, and conduct loop and functional testing.

This role requires heavy travel and remote work flexibility. Applicants should have a high school diploma with 3+ years in the field, basic control systems knowledge, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in the field or related area.
• Basic understanding of control system components, wiring, and networking.
• Willingness to work weekends or holidays to meet customer commitments.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation and commissioning of the data center Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS).
• Verify and troubleshoot control system I/O wiring.
• Perform field calibration of instrumentation when required.
• Perform loop testing of device data points to verify integration with the SCADA system.
• Perform functional testing of PLCs, HMIs, and vendor systems.
• Document testing progress and results using spreadsheets and BIM360/CxAlloy.
• Troubleshoot network, wiring, data point mapping, and operational issues.
• Be an ambassador for E Tech Group, focusing on client success and associate development.
