Job summary

Epson America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Specialist in the Greater Phoenix area. You will diagnose, repair, install, and train customers on professional printing products, with extensive travel to customer sites.

The role emphasizes strong electromechanical troubleshooting, remote and on-site service delivery, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining exceptional customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of experience in advanced technical or field service support for commercial/industrial printing equipment or similar electromechanical products.
• Field-based/on-site troubleshooting, repair, installation, and customer support experience.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Experience with RIP software, color management, and ICC profiles.
• Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware, software, configuration, and networking issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, product specs, and service manuals.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; work independently in the field.
• Travel more than 50%, including short-notice deployments to support next-day service.
• Two-year program or equivalent education/experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose product failures and perform on-site and remote repairs to quickly return equipment to production.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, configuration, and equipment performance issues.
• Install Epson products and conduct customer training on operation, production, and maintenance.
• Recommend solutions to improve equipment performance and the customer experience.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate technical records.
• Support pre- and post-launch activities for assigned products, including installation documentation.
• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, chat, and on-site service.
