Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Field Service Technician with a remote, field-based role whose primary service area is within 45 minutes of Portland, Maine. You’ll be a trusted technical expert for our SendTech solutions, ensuring client mail and shipping operations run smoothly across a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading hardware and software, servicing equipment, and traveling to customer sites with up to 80% driving time.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 55+ lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to travel to client sites with substantial driving time.
• Comfort working in the field with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Windows, PCs, and basic networking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Install, service, and upgrade mailing/shipping equipment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive satisfaction and retention.
• Manage a multi-zip-code territory with up to 80% driving time.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
