Job summary

ABB is seeking a Service Manager to lead field service work, install and commission equipment, and ensure high-quality customer outcomes. You will identify opportunities for improvement, manage material lists, and execute maintenance and upgrades across industrial installations.

You will collaborate with customers, work on-site or remotely around Atlanta, and uphold safety standards while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Electrical/Electronics certificate preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication across levels.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Project management using MS Project or Excel preferred.
• Highly organized with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service tasks and on-site troubleshooting with customers.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts and equipment meeting quality standards.
• Execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and end-of-life services.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships to drive satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
• Proactively detect equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe practices promptly.
