Job summary

ProMach seeks a Remote Field Service Technician to support NJM Packaging equipment across the United States. The role charges you with installation, commissioning, and on-site service to ensure optimal packaging performance for diverse clients.

Travel is required, including Canada and USA, with a passport and driver's license mandatory. The position emphasizes problem-solving, strong communication, and independence in a fast-paced, global team.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology with instrumentation and control focus.
• Proficient with PLC, HMI, and Allen Bradley RSLogix software.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication skills in English; customer-facing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission NJM Packaging equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs or retrofits (vision systems, drives, etc.).
• Train operators and users on-site.
• Assess customer needs and propose optimization opportunities during visits.
• Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and industry trends.
