Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers in the Southeast, preferably near Greater Charlotte, NC. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial marking equipment, with extensive travel to client sites.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of electro‑mechanical troubleshooting, strong customer service, and hands-on field experience. Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel about 60%.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electro‑mechanical machinery.
Field service experience with travel requirements.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Experience training customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel ~60%.

Responsibilities

Install, demonstrate, maintain, and repair industrial marking, coding, and labeling equipment.
Diagnose electro‑mechanical issues at customer sites and perform repairs.
Provide technical support and exceptional customer service during onsite visits.
Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
Complete service reports and documentation per company requirements.
Attend technical training sessions and professional development programs.
Assist with office-based responsibilities when not traveling to locations.
