Job summary

Carolina Industrial Products is seeking a Field Service Technician to service industrial battery systems and warehouse equipment across the Charlotte region. You will operate a company vehicle, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, install batteries, perform preventive maintenance, and communicate with customers and team members on service outcomes.

We value a hands-on problem-solver who can work independently in the field, lift 50+ pounds, and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial battery systems and charging equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Install and replace industrial batteries and related components.
• Conduct battery watering, cleaning, and inspections.
• Respond to customer service calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Complete service documentation and communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
