Job summary

ABB is seeking a field service professional to perform on-site service work for ABB Smart Power, delivering quality customer service and executing tasks per customer orders.

You will troubleshoot, install, maintain, and upgrade equipment, prepare material lists, and build strong relationships while pursuing new opportunities. This role is remote with work locations in Atlanta, GA, requiring OSHA 30 and a qualifying trades certificate.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Skilled Trades with OSHA 30 certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with customers to identify opportunities for operational improvement and eliminate pain points.
• Perform field service tasks, including on-site troubleshooting.
• Prepare material lists for service activities and ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and replacements.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
• Proactively detect equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide recommendations to management for improving operations and customer service.
• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe practices.
