Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in the Richmond, VA area is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on fitness equipment across commercial and consumer sites. You will travel within the DC/Richmond region, service calls, and collaborate with Sales and the broader Service team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

• 3+ years proven experience providing technical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair services on fitness equipment or products of equivalent complexity.
• High school diploma or GED required, Associate's degree in electronics or technical degree preferred.
• Proficiency diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with electro-mechanical, networking, and audio/visual technologies with knowledge of WiFi, power electronics, and circuits.
• Must be able to lift 50–100 pounds and travel up to 85% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Independently diagnose and troubleshoot networking, electrical, or mechanical issues with fitness equipment and consoles; perform preventative maintenance.
• Build relationships with customers and sales partners as a trusted service advisor; complete service on-site.
• Manage daily workload and scheduling; track metrics like first-time fix rate and resolution time.
• Travel the assigned territory primarily by company vehicle; maintain service records and reports.
