Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in the greater Pittsburgh area seeks a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain fitness equipment at commercial and consumer sites. You will travel within your territory, primarily by company van, to deliver reliable service.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of hands-on experience, a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), and strong electro-mechanical, networking, and WiFi skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience troubleshooting and repairing fitness equipment or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Ability to adapt quickly in an independent, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong diagnostic skills for electro-mechanical, networking, and A/V techs.
• Excellent relationship-building with customers; clear communication.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and MS Office suite beneficial.
• Must lift 50–100 pounds, push/pull equipment, and travel up to 85%.
• Valid state driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Independently diagnose and troubleshoot networking, electrical, or mechanical issues on fitness equipment and consoles.
• Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate service with sales partners.
• Manage service territory with accurate records and timely expense reports.
• Travel within territory primarily by company van to service customer sites.
• Maintain vehicle, inventory, and exchange parts with minimal shrinkage.
• Attend installs, regional trade shows, and adhere to safety procedures.
