Job summary

Quality Data Systems (QDS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair cash automation equipment including ATMs and ITMs within a 100-mile radius of your home base, with emphasis around Richmond, VA. You’ll travel, troubleshoot, and deliver reliable service to clients in the region.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
• 1+ years of experience as a field service technician preferred
• NCR Certification / OEM ATM/ITM certification a plus (Hyosung, NCR, Diebold, etc.)
• People person with strong relationship-building skills
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Clean and neat appearance
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to prioritize travel schedule and manage time effectively
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must pass background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Bring live and troubleshoot ATMs, ITMs, TCRs, Currency Discriminators, and Coin machines
• Upgrade software and hardware
• Diagnose system complications and perform repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Communicate effectively with QDS team members and customers
