Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Field Services Manager for Defense & Offshore to lead strategic field service operations in remote defense environments. You’ll partner with the Defense & Offshore leadership team to drive service growth, profitability, and data-driven decision making using ServiceMax.

You will oversee I&C project execution, warranty interventions, and cross-functional coordination across field ops, PM, regional leaders, and IT. A U.S.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of service management experience in defense/offshore/maritime sectors.
• Leadership of 50+ remote or high-pressure teams for 2+ years.
• 2+ years in a matrixed organization managing competing priorities.
• 5+ years in Sales & Operations Planning or capacity management in a service environment.
• 5+ years in ServiceMax or similar FSM tools; ensure IB data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead field service strategy and partner with regional leadership to drive service growth and profitability.
• Oversee end-to-end field service execution including I&C, warranty claims, and site interventions.
• Coordinate with field ops, PM, regional leadership, and IT to align maintenance with milestones and contracts.
• Enforce safety protocols for offshore environments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage field service engineers, certifications, and training for offshore/defense environments.
• Lead S&OP for field service aligning resources with sales and project schedules.
• Collaborate with Sales/ITO to tender I&C proposals with accurate scope and pricing.
• Serve as ServiceMax champion, drive data accuracy and optimize dispatch workflows.
