Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to deliver high-quality service and support for combustion systems at customer sites. You will work remotely from our Ohio location with 70–80% travel to customer sites and report to the Field Service Manager.

The role emphasizes evaluating, testing, and maintaining complex equipment, providing expert troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in field service or technical support roles.
• 3+ years of technical knowledge of electronic, mechanical, or software systems relevant to Honeywell products; PLC knowledge is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience inspecting complex technical equipment.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and service management software tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel 70–80% to customer sites domestically and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of combustion systems and equipment at customer sites.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe system performance, efficiency and reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers in the field.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives.
